Automatic Item Tracking

Automatic Item Tracking is an extension for Business Central that helps you with assigning new Lot Numbers automatically in Purchase documents.

The Setup is done on Item Tracking Code Card:

In the section Auto Assignment you can select on which documents the Lot Numbers should get pulled automatically from the number series.

This way, you can control for which Items the automation should be enabled.

And thats it, super easy!
